I am very open to new perspectives and accepting itf others, regardless of their lifestyle, personal interests, race, religion and/or sexuality. I personally am gay, I work at Starbucks and I am currently attending a pre-interpreter's course at the local Deaf school here in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada). :-D As I am hearing and I'm still learning ASL, I might sign a few things incorrectly. I am confident though and have come a very long way. Earlier in my course we we're learning the word for shy and I was kind of signing it backwards. My teacher noticed and he looked really shocked and then laughed. It turns out I had accidently signed the word whore... woops, LOL! I've improved very drastically since then, so you should all be safe from me using bad words... most if the time. ^^ I am a very open kind of person and love meeting new people. I am somewhat new to the Deaf community. I have really felt and experienced many wonderful things about Deaf culture and how the Deaf community is very open hearted and tightly connected. If the world were the same as the Deaf community, I seriously think we would've solved world peace by now.   I look forward to getting to know all of you fine people on DVTV. If you read through this novel I typed out I am thouroughly impressed! I tend to rant on and on. :-) See you out there!
