#1 Gallaudet’s Black Student Union is still here

Black student organizations have been a vital part of Gallaudet’s community for over 50 years! Today, the Black Student Union works hard to support students with advocacy, gatherings, and leadership development.

#2 Checking in with the Center for Black Deaf Studies

The Center for Black Deaf Studies is now entering its sixth year! They have amazing projects planned for Black History Month and beyond, including panels, presentations, and archival work.

#3 New books on Deaf mental health spotlight Gallaudet expertise

Mental health knowledge is more important than ever. Gallaudet Press is launching a timely new book series that addresses mental health in the deaf and hard of hearing community. The series will feature many Gallaudet researchers.

#4 Alumnus Tim Albert builds connections everywhere he goes

Gallaudet alum Tim Albert has used his social work degrees to create connections at deaf schools all over the United States! Today, he works as the Student Life Team Director at NTID.

#5 In memoriam: Dr. Ronald Eugene Sutcliffe

Dr. Ronald Eugene Sutcliffe was a longtime professor and Dean for the Gallaudet School of Business. During his career, he inspired many successful deaf and hard of hearing business owners and professionals.
