The California School for the Deaf, Fremont held a Celebration of Life for Kenneth Norton, who passed away at the age of 98. Norton made incredible contributions to the school as a student, teacher, coach, and dean of students. Due to very severe pain from arthritis in his hip, he decided to end his life through assisted suicide in Switzerland on January 7, 2025. Here is coverage of the tribute and interviews with Kenenth’s two adult children, Nikki and Kurt, and CSDF administrators on the impact and legacy of Kenneth’s life.
