I turned a simple piece of blue pine into a stunning serving board. Perfect for food photography, charcuterie, and styling! In this video, I’ll show you the full process: sanding and oiling to bring out the wood’s natural beauty.
Why blue pine? It’s not ideal for everyday cutting since pine is a softwood, but it makes a gorgeous serving board for plating and food photography. I also explain why I avoid mineral oil and prefer MCT oil for a food safe, non toxic finish that won’t go rancid.
If you love DIY projects, woodworking, and food styling, this video is for you!
