Love Sign and Deaf Equality announced that the ASL performances for the Super Bowl this Sunday, for the pregame and the halftime performances, will be available on a livestream on Fox Sports’ YouTube. The link is in the description and the transcript and it says it’ll be live on February 9 at 5:00 pm.

The performers are Otis Jones and Stephanie Nogueras for the pregame ceremonies and Matt Maxey for the halftime show.

Kickoff is at 6:30 pm, so it’s safe to say the pregame ceremonies will start around 20 minutes prior to that. There’s no word on whether the ASL performances will be displayed in a PIP screen on the main Fox broadcast. In past years, the Deaf community has raised numerous complaints that broadcasters are ignoring the ASL portions, but there has been very little change.

If you’re watching the game at home or at someone else’ place, you can try setting up a laptop or tablet or with the livestream link and try to watch both broadcasts at the same time or watch the ASL portions later.

Love Sign is a Deaf-owned business founded by Alexis Kashar, who developed a close relationship with the NFL to bring ASL performers to the big game. She partnered with the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) and its former CEO Howard Rosenblum in previous years to select ASL performers. When Rosenblum left the NAD last year, he started Deaf Equality, and is continuing to work with Kashar and the Super Bowl.
