The Orthodox Christian Deaf Association (OCDA) hosted its first-ever Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Deaf/HH) event in Dallas, Texas. Participants from across the United States—including a bishop, priests, deacons, interpreters, and faithful attendees—gathered to develop American Orthodox Sign Language and address issues and solutions for the Deaf/HH community.
I had the honor of sharing my story and answering questions as a Deaf Orthodox Deacon.
This video, edited from the OCDA's Facebook Live stream, is a 23-minute segment featuring my portion of the event. Both VoiceOver and captions are included for accessibility.
