Has anyone ever told you that you’d never be successful or learn how to do something?
When this type of comment comes from an adult who has authority or power over you (I.e., a parent, teacher, coach, etc.), the message often quashes confidence, or sparks a fire and determination to prove that person wrong.
Thank you, @an.alchemical.life for sharing your journey in reclaiming a part of yourself that was temporarily quashed by an adult’s thoughtless words. We love seeing you be the real you!
