I got my boots ready to go with a jar of nut butter, totally nowhere safe to go though. Every summer is always a very curious time for me as fires are known to cover miles and miles in one day so I wouldn't have a chance to outwalk it. Even if I had a mule, would be hard to stay ahead of the fire.
