ADHD Tip: Body Doubling

If you have ADHD, body doubling is a simple yet very effective technique to use to counter ADHD distraction and disorganization. Having another person nearby helps to keep you grounded, serves as a model of calmness and focus, and offers positive energy. The body double only needs to be there in the same room, and doesn’t need to be involved with what you are working on, unless you specifically asked for help (I.e., if you are having trouble getting the laundry folded, you could ask for help with that task to get you started with it). Have you tried body doubling? Let us know what works for you when dealing with ADHD. #bodydoubling
