JENNY: I have three things to share with you for this month's update. First, I’m excited to let you all know an update -- before I get into that, you know that the NAD hosts its NAD conference every two years. Next year, we will host our conference in Chicago, in 2024. So, you may be wondering where the conference in 2026 will be held? The NAD Board has decided the 2026 site will be San Francisco, California! Secondly, this summer has been a very busy time for the NAD Board. Each of us have been attending different conferences and events for state associations and national organizations. At those conferences, members often vote on an association or organization’s priorities, important issues that need to be addressed in communities, and on their leaders such as board officers. Many state associations and national organizations have new people on their boards. The NAD is ready to support and work with them throughout their term -- as we've always done. Finally, next month, on September 21 - 23, we are excited to host the NAD Leadership Training Conference (NLTC). It’s quickly approaching and we’re ready to provide great workshops and training for various topics including parliamentarian training, education advocacy training, organization development, and more. We’re excited to come together as a community to discuss, engage, and learn! I’m looking forward to see you in Albuquerque, New Mexico!]
