SSA Letter stating, Information About Medicare…..Your monthly premium for Medicare Part B (medical insurance) is $000.00 beginning 2023……Important: A Medicare law requires some higher income persons to pay higher premiums. The law applies to premiums for Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance), prescription drug coverage, and Medicare Part B Immunosuppressive Drug coverage. The law generally affects individuals with incomes higher than $00,000 and couple with incomes higher than $000,000. We will contact the Internal Revenue Service to get information about your income….If we decide that you have to pay higher premiums, we will send a letter explaining our decision. The higher amount will be effective 2023……..We deduct Medicare medical insurance (Part B) premiums 1 month in advance..We will start to take premiums out of you 2023 check……………………………My friend went to SSA Office and the wrote it down and stating that on note:::::If you don’t have Medicare Part B, there is a 10 % penalty for each year you are not enrolled. If you have no Part B coverage for 12 months and enroll then the penalty will be $00.00 (10% of #000.00) monthly premium 2 years without Part B, $00.00 penalty + $000.00 premium……..
