In this installment, President Jenny reminds folks to explore our archived webinar page (www.nad.org/resources/webinars), consider taking either the Parliamentarian Training or Education Advocates Training at the NAD Leadership Training Conference (www.nad.org/2023-nltc), and ends with excitement for June coming up!

JENNY: Hi everyone! May has been a busy month for the NAD, communities, and different organizations. The NAD hosted several webinars -- we keep a list of webinar recordings on our website in case you missed one, it's a great opportunity to learn from past webinars. May is Mental Health awareness month and Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Awareness Month -- check out our social media posts to learn more. The NAD continues to plan for its NAD Leadership Training Conference (NLTC) during September 21-23, 2023. We will host two different trainings at NLTC: Education Advocates Training and Parliamentarian Training. Both trainings are useful for anyone who wishes to learn more about those individual topics. If you're interested in either training, check the box when you register for NLTC. Your organization may not know who to send to NLTC yet and may want to take advantage of the early bird rate, you can! Go ahead and register with a 'placeholder' name and let us know who your organization decides to send. Sometimes your organization doesn't know who to send yet because you haven't had your conference yet -- often that's when elections happen. We look forward to knowing your organization's new officers once you have your elections. Contact us if you're interested in having the NAD attend and give a workshop or send a welcome letter for your program book. We'll be sure to handle that promptly for you! So, May was busy for us right? Next month, we look forward to celebrating DeafBlind Awareness month and PRIDE -- we're excited to share some posts next month!]
