Have you checked out "The Silver Vampire" series written by DEAF author Carolyn Cami?!

It's a pretty fascinating series written with imagination! What's even MORE fascinating to me is the fact that Carolyn herself grew up experiencing language deprivation and STILL had the guts to try and go write a book! Carolyn is an example of how ANY Deaf people can write a book!
