Adoptee Kami's Story

People who are not adopted, or who don’t have any personal or family experience with adoption, are often curious about the experiences of those who have been adopted. When an experience is unfamiliar to us, our assumptions can be formed from what the media presents to us, which are often the most dramatic or shocking news bites and dramas, and not representative of many adoptees’ experiences. We appreciate Kami’s openness in sharing her own story of adoption and her feedback on some common questions and comments. #adoptionstory
