Visited the site of Black Deaf School in Knoxville, Tennessee before desegregated to the other campus. Now as a golf course and a resort off Dandridge Avenue.

Note: Who is William A. Caldwell? America’s earliest known black deaf teacher and a principal. His teaching career lasted at least 34 years in total.

Contact me for more information on Caldwell’s biography.
