Gosia’s Pierogies, a Deaf-owned business in Latrobe, PA, held a grand opening of their 2,000 square factory on June 22. Their facility has cutting-edge technology that processes thousands of pieces of traditional pierogies in a day.

Their customers range from giant food companies such as Sysco or Whole Foods to local customers at community festivals.

The owners, married couple Terry and Jan Smith-Rawecki, originally started their business in 2001 in the kitchen of their home.
