Monu: Hello. My name is Monu Chhetri. We are from Syracuse, New York. Our organization is called the
Deaf New Americans Advocacy Inc. We provide services to refugees, asylum seekers, and immigrants.
Tamla: On July 28-30, 2022, our organization is hosting a national conference in Syracuse, NY. The topic will be, “Empowering Deaf New Americans.” We have presenters that come from diverse backgrounds who will talk about healthcare, culture, education, communication / interpreting, and research. Michael: Hello, my name is Michael Schwartz. I am a law professor at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. I want to announce that my friend and colleague of many years, Monu Chhetri, started a Deaf New American organization. They will have a national conference. It is in Syracuse, New York.
