Holy Week: Tuesday

Tuesday is here and today Jesus took the time to instruct and teach the people. He shared man parables (stories with lessons). The religious leaders were there not to listen, but to find ways to trick him and his teaching. Many of these parables were a contradiction to the leaders teachings. These parables were calling them out on there doing and their hearts. This only made the leader more eager to get Jesus out of the picture.

Before we join in on the condemnation. We need to examine our heart. These stories also calls you and I. That at the heart of these stories, Jesus wants us to remember who He is. It’s not about us, but about Him. We were created to bring glory to Him and not ourselves.

Our sins are no different than the religious leaders. But thankfully, we still have hope. Jesus is our hope! He is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. He taught the truth so that we might come to faith in Him.
