Did you know you can ask your interviewer questions during your interview too?! Always have questions ready to ask your interviewer - Lori believes you should at least ask one question about the company or the team you will potentially be working with.
[TRANSCRIPT & DESC: A screen recorded online event of four women on Zoom. They are Renate Rose, Tyese Wright, Gisella Tomita, and Lori Taylor.
RENATE: Towards the end of the interview, you’re usually asked if you have any questions - what are some questions I should ask?

LORI: You can ask a bunch of different questions. For example, “can you tell me more about your company?” - it can be about their success or profits or any detail about their company. You can ask if you get the job, who would be your immediate supervisor and how the structure would work. You can ask how long the interview process will be - two weeks then I can follow up with you? I emphasize with my students to always ask a question - don’t just say “no, thank you” and leave. Ask at least one question. Any questions about the benefits or the pay, don’t ask that until further down in the interview process - unless they bring it up.
RENATE: I usually ask “what does your work dynamic look like?” This shows my interest in their co-workers.
