[TRANSCRIPT & DESC: A screen recorded online event of four women on Zoom. They are Renate Rose, Tyese Wright, Gisella Tomita, and Lori Taylor.

RENATE: If I get a question that I'm unsure how to answer, what do I do?

(an animated slide appears with a dark greyish-blue brick as the background. Question bubbles appear with Q and A, and a bold white text appeared, "What if I don't know the answer?")

GISELLA: This is why you prepare for your interview, this is important. Prepare by practicing with different questions - these can be found online, there's so many sample interview questions! You can do 50 questions, but during an interview - they don't ask you 50 questions, maybe up to 5 or 10 questions, it depends. It's important that you read the questions or sit down with your transition counselor or VR counselor. You can ask them for a mock interview, you might get few questions that could be asked or it could be different during your interview!

TYESE: You can always ask them to sign the question again, this gives you more time to think of your answer. Try to answer questions the best you can.

LORI: You have to expect the unexpected.

GISELLA: What are the most common questions? Usually they're related to their company and/or the job description. This is a common question: "Tell me about yourself". Sometimes we're not sure how to answer this question - even when talking about yourself! You want to explain who you are, don't go deep in your life story - but my big suggestion is to practice and do your research!
