Even if you’re not looking for a job, our Mock Interview event will help give you some experience! We’ll connect you with folks from companies like Starbucks, Google, Facebook, Mozzeria, and more! CHLOE: Hi!
SEAN: Oh hey, lucky you – you caught me during my lunch break. What’s up?!
CHLOE: So….. I just got a job interview!
SEAN: YASSS! I’m excited for you!
CHLOE: But I’m so nervous!
[Sean and Chloe on FaceTime together]
CHLOE: What do I do if they ask me why they should hire me?
SEAN: Try to breathe… wait…
CHLOE: I don’t have enough job experience!
[SEAN trying to calm CHLOE]
CHLOE: I don’t know what to do!
SEAN: Hold up, hold up! I get it…
CHLOE: What if I mess up?
SEAN: First, BREATHEEE!!
[On the phone, Chloe starts to calm down and breathe]
SEAN: The NAD is hosting a Mock Interview event in March – you could practice with real employers! All you need to do is sign up, it’s free!
CHLOE: Really?
SEAN: Yes! With real employers! It’d be a good experience for you! It’s lit.
CHLOE: Champ!
SEAN: You’ll be able to improve your interview skills. The event happens on Friday, March 4th but but but the deadline to sign up is Feb 4th!
CHLOE: Thank you! ILY! I’ll sign up!
