We’re looking for workshop proposals from the community for the community. I want to share some things for you to keep in mind while you work on your proposal. To help the NAD identify which workshops to select, we rely on our volunteer community raters from all over the U.S. – representing all four regions, affiliates, and other organizations. The community raters rate with the following criteria: proposal clarity, its organization, how applicable your workshop will be to our daily lives, its originality, innovativeness, and creativity. Each workshop is 75 minutes long, with long breaks in between. You can have up to five people per workshop – whether you plan to have co-presenters or host a panel. Selected workshops get a $100 discount towards their conference registration. I hope you can keep what I said in mind as you work on your proposal draft.]
