Gisella: Be professional! If you're not sure how to, take a class to prepare for the job interviews.

Tyese: It's really important is to sell yourself!

Gisella: Don't interrupt them during the interview.

Tyese: Practice with someone who knows you very well! They could help to give you
feedback about how you are doing in the interview and how you are responding and
the way you are going through the interview will fit the needs of that company.

Gisella: And be authentic too! Don’t make up statements or try and over embellish your skills. Be honest and transparent about your skills and give an accurate representation of who you are.

Tyese: Dress code is very important. It's important to have nice hair and wear the opposite of your skin color, so it is easier for the interpreter to see you too.

Renate: Another thing is to research and learn about the company because sometimes their interests and values don't align with mine. Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to do the interview in the first place. You wouldn't want to waste their and your time doing the interview. So, research and make sure you are going to like the company to work for - including who they are, what they stand for, and more. If you like them, go for it! It's so important to do.
