Cancer Survivors: Lynn's Story
DeafCounseling April 17, 2021 in ASL 14 Subscribers Subscribe
When people find out they have cancer, the process of dealing with it is often stressful, overwhelming, and scary. It can be lonely, especially for Deaf people, who may not always have access to information in ASL and who may have to advocate for their right to interpreters for medical appointments. Natalie shares the story of her cancer diagnosis, how she coped with it, and discusses some facts about breast cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic. #deafcancer #deafcancersurvivors #cancersupport
