In a world with so much noise and distractions around us, we need to be people who will intentionally take a step back to seek the Lord in silence and solitude. We see Jesus giving this example as he would often retreat to a desolate place to commune with His Father. So too, we also need to spend time alone to hear from the Lord and take away all the competing voices around us.
