Here is an interview with Dr. Glenn Anderson and his son Jamaal Anderson in honor of Black History Month. Dr. Anderson is the first deaf African-American to receive a doctorate degree in the U.S. and is the current Gallaudet University Board of Trustees Chairman. Jamaal was a star college football player at the University of Arkansas and was drafted in the first round in the 2007 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons.
