Samuel Lee “Sammie” Hudson Sr. (1946-2014) was a Black Deaf artist, activist, and advocate. He was the first President of Alabama Black Deaf Advocates in 2005 and remained his membership until his death in 2014. He also was retired with the U. S. Postal Service after 38 years.
