Tali Krakowsky, founder of Apologue, Inc., discusses the emerging field of interactive architecture--what it is and what it could be--in her presentation today entitled, "The Spaces in Between."
Our digital world is entirely transforming our physical architecture and how we inhabit it. The seamless integration of emerging media, interactive content, cinematic storytelling, performance, graphic design and architecture can engage culture in new conversations. These smart, artful, meaningful, useful and playful spaces that could potentially change the way we think and behave.
Tali Krakowsky, the founder of Apologue, Inc., is dedicated to the creation of immersive environments that seamlessly integrate new media, storytelling and physical space. Committed to a highly multi-disciplinary and collaborative methodology, Krakowsky has imagined and created interactive spaces for clients such as CHANEL, Victoria's Secret, BMW, the Museum of Modern Art, IBM, Frank Gehry, HBO and Van Cleef & Arpels. She is a frequent speaker and writer on the topics of design, technology, and architecture, and is also a curator and moderator of global, cross-disciplinary events that focus on facilitating conversations amongst professionals around the science and fiction of immersive design.
