Too often we explain away what the Scripture says about some mysterious aspects of the Holy Spirit's work in a person's heart before he ever turns to Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins and regenerates us only because of the mercy of God- and NOT because of what a person HAS or DID themselves. Let us praise God for His mercy and grace!
