Cat And Rooster: Dance
Sanborn and Dowe
Music: The Night We Danced (Circa, 2013)
This video is about a dance between a Deaf and a CODA. Both dancers combined American Sign Language (classifier and sign mime version) and Latin Dance for a cat and rooster.
This dance was inspired by our first performance with Tourette’s Without Regrets (Oakland, CA) in Feb 2018. The first show was called, “ASL Eroticismâ€. A lesson that yielded a poem.
This video was filmed on the first and last day of our rehearsal, which explains the lightning and silhouettes.
Hope you like our dance. Please subscribe, thank you!
