VIDEO DESCRIPTION & TRANSCRIPT:
TANYA: Are you planning to go to Chicago for the NAD Conference this summer? I'm going too! I'm Tanya Miller, the NAD Workshop Coordinator. We all know we value sharing resources and information with each other, in the deaf community. Why don't you present at the NAD Conference? Your knowledge, expertise, and skill set is what we're looking for! The Deaf community will gain from the ideas you share. If you're not sure about what ideas to share -- well, the NAD will provide a variety of topics for people representing different backgrounds. Our website has a list of about 14 tracks such as "Advancing ASL," "Advocacy," "Education," "Health," "Innovation & Government Engagement," and many more! We are also excited to announce two workshop partners -- Deaf In Government (DIG) and National Deaf Education Conference (NDEC). The three of us are ready to plan this summer's list of workshops -- the only thing that is missing, is you! The NAD officially invites you to share your workshop idea with us. You can find more details on our website. Contact us if you have any questions.
