Salisbury Riot of 1968 began with Daniel Kenneth Henry, a deaf 22 years old man was shot in front of Police Department building. Jerry C. Mason, a City Detective, was cleared of manslaughter charges in September 1968.
Riot happened after Martin Luther King Jr. shooting in April 1968 and before Robert Kennedy shooting in June 1968.
