The only non-profit and private community for the deaf and blind in the United States. Currently, it has one apartment building of 21 units. It has a one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments and two lounges/activity rooms. The community is near downtown which is a walking distance. There is a public library nearby (1 1/2 blocks). The police station is a next-door neighbor. Across the street is CoMMA, Community of Morganton Municipal Auditorium.
