Sometimes we think it depends on how good we are that we accept Christ as our Savior, but that CANNOT be true. There are people who are morally much worse than the average and are changed forever to serve the Lord passionately. The apostles, like Paul, teach again and again throughout the Scripture that all Christians were hopeless sinners who opposed God in every way. It is only the grace of God that saves us. The more we understand how sinful we were, the more we will praise God for saving us!
