Genuine Christians know that there is absolutely NO GOOD outcome of committing a sin. The only thing they received in their old life from sin is SHAME. The fruit coming from our new master is ABUNDANT, and that is HOLINESS. It cannot be both. Praise God that He is not finished with us and we who are in CHRIST can know for sure that we have eternal life!
