Sharing the result of chancery jury’s decision really oppressed a deaf person like Anna Darden in Isle of Wight County. The surprise discovery in the 74 written pages emerged Anna had a deaf brother, Charles Darden (1788-1847). Jury saw Anna is smart but incapable of doing her finances! I believe the harmful testimony was from Charles Darden’s daughter, Catherine Parr influenced the jury’s decision. A real sad case split the community in two communities in a small town!
