I’m the artistic director for the Deaf West Theatre here in Los Angeles. My position entails a variety of responsibilities, for instance, selecting plays, finding directors and actors, and coordinating productions. Our mission is to connect the deaf and hearing communities through theater. My goal is to continue that through the creation of new productions.

During my time as a student at Gallaudet, I learned a lot, not only in the classroom but also out of the classroom from my role models – teachers, faculty, staff, and others.

Gallaudet was more than just a school for me. It was a formative place affirming my being as a deaf person, centering and grounding me with an increased understanding of myself, which has helped me throughout my life. I thank Gallaudet for giving me the foundation for what I do.
