Alder Springs is a nonprofit community designed for the unique needs of seniors, particularly for the deaf and blind. It is located near the heart of charming downtown Morganton, NC, home of the North Carolina School for the Deaf (NCSD) and adjacent to Interstate 40 which traverses the US from the Atlantic to the Pacific. The community is an independent living facility featuring moderately affordable one- and two-bedroom units with two fully handicap accessible apartments. Advanced technologies throughout facilitate communication and movement and assure safety and security.
