There is confusion among Christians about 1 John 1:9. It says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (NKJV)." Some Christians wrongly think it means that we we must confess every sin to God, so that we can go to heaven. Disciples do confess their sins, but what does that mean?
