There is a mixed up debate on labeling Cobbs property as Cobbs Hall. None in the Bolling diaries indicated the name “Cobbs Hall.” So why is there a historic marker with “Cobbs Hall” on it? It should change with respect to “Cobbs” and mention as first Deaf School in America from 1815 to 1816 called Braidwood Academy for the Deaf.
