Old Dutch Reformed Church and Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, NY; that is where Deaf, Rhoda (Wells) Stratton and her family, Deaf husband Frederick Stratton and Deaf son, James Wells Stratton are buried here. James Wells Stratton was named after Rhoda’s Deaf brother, James Wells, who was settled and buried in Baltimore, Maryland. Remember my previous story about him? Rhoda and Deaf son attended the New York School for the Deaf (Fanwood). #Deaf #ASL #Deaftalent #deafstudies #Deafhistory #deafcommunity #Deafjourney #ourdeafcommunity #ourdeafjourney #whyisign #history
