Finally found the memorial of the Chamberlaynes 2 1/2 hours away from Richmond City where Lewis, Lucy, and Edward are buried at. Interesting is that Deaf Teacher at VA Deaf School (VSDB) & graduate from Fanwood Deaf School, Hartwell, his #Deaf wife Elmina and hearing son, Thomas #Gallaudet Chamberlayne and other possible son, John Stewart Chamberlayne, I do not know about yet- all are buried in the same plot with same memorial! Neat! The accurate address will be on ASL Rose website when it opens up. There were FOUR same “Old Concord Presbyterian Cemeteries†in SAME area. Had to search all over and finally found it when dark night came! #Deafeducation #Deaf #ASL #ASLRose #deafcommunity
