Turpin family - Quiverfull Cult movement.

I suspect that the Turpin family is part of Christian cult movement called “Quiverfull families”. The Duggar family (19 children) is another famous example of Quiverfull family. They are characterized by numerous children, extreme Christian lifestyle, homeschool, absolute father/husband authority, and excessive spanking. It is truly a terrifying cult.

My 11 years in Independent Fundamental Baptist Church has exposed me to those families. I have seen few Christian families who practice those Quiverfull principles.

Several have abused their religious privileges to hide their questionable religious practices from the public and government. It is necessary to reduce the religious privileges. The freedom of religion doesn’t mean the freedom of abuse and tyranny.
