Understanding the evolutionary history of humans is essential to understanding our sexuality. For throughout 200,000 years, homo sapiens shared everything in a clan/tribe. There were no personal possession, no stealing, for everything belonged to the group. There was no husbands or wives. The children belonged to the tribe. It did not matter who father was for all women in tribe helped with raising children. Once we understand our past, we will understand that there were no sexual labels. When men went out for a hunt, they freely engaged in gay sex with each other. And when men left, the women engaged in lesbian sex each other. When the men returned, the whole tribe celebrate together and have orgies together. There were no permanent relationships, several partners moved freely through other partners. The sex back then was very free and open minded. That is our heritage. We are not wired to be monogamous. We were originally polygamous.

The humans changed at the agricultural revolution 10,000 years ago. The humans become farmers and the social structure changed. Women and daughters become men's property. Religions and governments were invented to control people and impose rules. Therefore, the sexuality of humans was restricted by social norms. The humans no longer engaged in sex freely as the cavemen. This help explain why there are lots of adultery & divorces today. We are not designed to be monogamous.

Keep in the mind that the Bible is not a textbook on sexuality. Many Christians proclaim traditional marriage but many biblical characters contradicts that. For example, Adam and Eve had children, but who did their children marry? The answer is their own siblings. Huh, Incest? Abraham the father of Jews had four wives. In the laws, if a husband die, a wife is required to marry his brother. King David who wrote Psalms and King Solomon who wrote Proverbs had multiple wives. Huh? What traditional marriage? There is no such thing. Evolutionary history of our sexuality give us clear answers to understanding ourselves and our sexuality.
