Do you wonder where the concepts of afterlife, soul, spirits, spiritual world, burial rites, worship all came from? The answer is surprising! The archaeological & paleontological evidences show that the prehistory humans and other homo species exhibited earliest religious beliefs through their cave paintings, burial rites, altars, etc.
The Bible is not the origin of all beliefs. Our beliefs has evolved through thousands of years, starting with the Paleolithic ancestors, aka cavemen. The concept of God also has evolved through the years. In the beginning, our ancestors worshipped different spirits of the world as such animal spirts, sky spirits, forest spirits. Then they evolved into gods and ultimately into the current form of God.
