Hello everyone!

I am Chris Haulmark, running for U.S. House of Representatives in Kansas’s Third Congressional District.

Today's video shares how much fun yesterday was!

What was I doing?

I went to Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe, attending their homecoming and watching their volleyball and football games.

During the games, I socially networked with many attendees.

Did you know, there are annual celebrations all over the country at our Deaf schools?

Traditional homecoming weekends bring many Deaf community members from all across the state, along with their friends, to gather together and socialize.

Homecoming is a remarkable and amazing event as Deaf people come together to meet with both old and new faces, and socialize.

So much fun!

I would like to show you a short clip from yesterday's homecoming event!

Here it is!

[The video fades to the football field where a game is in play. Then the camera pans around 360 degrees to show people sitting and standing around socializing while some watch the game. Then camera reaches the end to show a play involving the quarterback, on the Missouri School for the Deaf team, step back and make a throw overhead to a running receiver. However, the ball is thrown too deep while two Kansas School for the Deaf players attempt to intercept the ball. This short clip fades back to Chris Haulmark.]

Now, did you enjoy that?

Get an idea our Deaf community's homecoming tradition?

That’s what happened yesterday here in Kansas!

Wasn't that an amazing day!?
