Hello everyone!

I am Chris Haulmark, running for U.S. House of Representatives for Kansas Third Congressional District!

Today's vlog discusses the ASL hand sign: "BELIEVE"

Why was this sign selected as our campaign logo?

Okay..

First, the choice is not just because of the English term “Believe,” because "believe" is also a word existing in my native language, American Sign Language.

The second reason is what “Believe” means.

Historically, Deaf and disabled people always have been doubted by a huge variety of people, including those within our own communities too!

Absolutely, it does happen!

So, I knew that during my campaign, there..

[emphatic head nod]

..will ALWAYS be those doubting my ability to succeed.

THAT'S why our campaign emphasizes

YES, WE CAN BELIEVE!
