Deafopia, 501c3, a non-profit organization which is called Deafopia Fund Raising. We want to do the fundraising for: -----> Support Hurricane Harvey Deaf and Hard of Hearing victims in Southern Texas. <------- Hurricane Harvey had hit southern Texas on August 25, 2017 in the night as Category 4. It has devasted many homes near the Gulf of Mexico with heavy rains, wind and lot of flooding. Hurricane Harvey will dump more than 40 inches of rain in the affected areas that could cause flooding. Losing a home in affected areas could be devasting and we would like to help deaf and hard of hearing victims when they really need one. Imagine yourself in their shoes, if a flooding can take your home away suddenly and you lost everything that you have for many years.. It would be devasitng to you to lose everything. That could happen to many deaf and hard of hearing in the affected areas.. Setting up fund raising will give them lot of relief for their suffering in the affected areas.. Deafopia would like to start fund raising money to help the victims and would like to ask you for your help. Please donate and share with others to grow the funds. Lot of people in Texas will know that we all are watching and providing them help when they really need it. Deafopia want to begin by giving 100 dollars on the Gofundme and would ask you all for your help to donate. We will contact Texas Association of the Deaf and give them the funds so they can use it to help others.
