Hello everyone!
I am Chris Haulmark, running for U.S. House of Representatives representing Kansas’s Third Congressional District!
Today’s vlog discusses how to understand why
Democrats and Republicans always seem to quarrel endlessly.
Why such constant divisiveness above all else for what feels like forever?
Here’s an analogy to consider.
[pausing]
Okay…
Imagine that three people seated around a table, facing each other.
The first person is a Democrat.
The second person is a Republican.
The third person is a wealthy Republican.
There are ten cookies on a plate in the middle of the table.
The wealthy Republican reaches out and takes nine cookies.
The Democrat decides to reach out towards the last cookie.
The wealthy Republican then tells the other Republican
â€That liberal Democrat is trying to take your cookie.â€
How would the Republican respond?
What to do?
The Republican would fight with the Democrat over that last cookie.
Look around us!
This story is what’s happening all over America, especially in Kansas over so many “issues.â€
The wealthiest of the wealthy elite always have everything they need.
When we, the People, attempt to discuss on how to solve our issues, the wealthiest elite interfere by telling the Republicans what to do.
Tomorrow’s vlog will explain about how I plan to change this overarching sentiment oppressing us Kansans and Americans.
A plan for structural change is just as how Bernie Sanders’ sparked our current movement.
Stay tuned!
