Today I am thrilled to make an announcement.
I know all of you will be excited by this news of what am I going to do.
I am running for Congress, right here in the third district of Kansas.
We are going to vote and we are going to win and then we will have made history.
I will play an active role in our government.
I want to do it.
I will run for office like an American and as a Kansan, too.
I really need all of your help with the first step.
We need to raise funds!
I will knock on the door of the Democratic Congressional Convention Committee and show them I mean business with this large war chest.
I will prove to them that I am a serious candidate ready to run for Congress and they will rally to support me.
I want to challenge a Republican.
His name is Representative Yoder.
He needs to be unseated because he does not represent all of us.
So many voters are ready to move on and I am ready to stand up, in his place, and serve this community.
